Polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation boards are known for their excellent thermal properties and versatility. Our PIR boards offer unrivalled thermal resistance, which means your home or building will remain better insulated, regardless of the weather conditions outside. Whether you are starting a new project or renovating an existing building, our PIR boards are the smart choice for sustainable insulation.
Choosing Idelco insulation panels means choosing quality, durability and innovation. Our products are designed to meet the highest standards in the industry and offer numerous benefits:
Choose Idelco insulation panels and invest in a comfortable, efficient and sustainable future for your building.
In the agricultural sector, our insulation solutions help create energy-efficient storage and working spaces, allowing companies to optimise their operating costs. Our Idelco AGRO panelsoffer excellent thermal insulation and prevent temperature fluctuations that can be harmful to crops and animals.
This keeps products fresh and healthy for longer, contributing to the quality of your production. In addition, our insulation is also fire-retardant, significantly reducing the risk of fire.
For industrial applications, our insulation panels offer robust and reliable performance that meets the specific requirements of this sector. From factory buildings to warehouses, our products deliver where it counts.
With a high RD value and excellent fire resistance, our panels are ideal for creating safe, insulated workspaces. Moreover, they also provide sound insulation, which helps reduce noise pollution and improve the working environment for staff.
Enjoy the many benefits of modern insulation and prepare your building for the demands of tomorrow.
To evolve along with the construction of the future, new insulation standards have been set for the period 2023 and 2024. For new construction projects, the target is an S-level of no more than S28 and an E-level of no more than E30.
Since 2023, energy performance will be emphasised even more and an E-level of E20 must be achieved, instead of the current E30.
There is also an increase in the minimum share of renewable energy, for both new residential and non-residential buildings. At least 25 kWh/m².year of renewable energy must be provided for new residential buildings, and at least 35 kWh/m².year for non-residential buildings.
A new element is the installation requirement: central heating with water as the heat delivery medium must be provided at a low temperature.
EPB standards are clearly aimed at developing energy-efficient and environmentally friendly buildings. Make sure you keep up to date with these changes to meet the latest requirements.
Our PIR insulation boards are known for their superior thermal performance, making them the best choice for a wide range of applications. They offer a high Rd value and minimise heat loss, making them ideal for insulating buildings and spaces.
The thickness of insulation boards depends on the specific application and the desired insulation value. Our experts will be happy to advise you on the best thickness for your project. Get your no-obligation quote today.
Yes, our PIR insulation panels are fire-retardant and comply with strict fire safety standards. They have high fire resistance and will not contribute to the spread of a fire.
PIR insulation offers better thermal performance than EPS, meaning you need less thickness to achieve the same insulation value. It is also more fire-resistant and has higher compressive strength.
Costs vary depending on specifications, but at Idelco we offer excellent value for money. Contact us for a personalised quote. Our experts will be happy to help you find the best solution for your budget and needs.
Although both materials have their advantages, PIR insulation offers higher thermal resistance and is easier to handle and install than glass wool.
When using PIR boards, it is often advisable to install a vapour barrier in order to avoid condensation problems and extend the life of your insulation.
PIR can be higher priced than glass wool, but given the superior performance and lower thickness required for the same insulation value, it can be more cost-effective in the long run.
At Idelco, we are ready to answer your insulation questions and guide you towards a more energy-efficient future. Contact us today to find out more about our solutions and how we can support your project.
